An introduction to corruption and integrity in the water and sanitation sectors, with input on critical vulnerabilities.


Participants learn about the links between integrity, good governance and sustainability of water and sanitation services and learn about four principles of integrity (Transparency, Accountability, Participation, Anti-corruption) to strengthen water and sanitation programmes.


The course also includes an introduction to key integrity tools that practitioners can use to assess and address major integrity risks.

  • Module 1: Introducing key concepts of integrity and corruption

  • Module 2: Integrity as a cornerstone of good water governance

  • Module 3: Integrity tools and approaches: getting down to work
